Since 1986, when the trumpeter Reinhold Friedrich won the first prize at the international music competition in Munich, the artist has appeared on all the major national and international stages worldwide. His wide musical repertoire ranges from baroque music, carried out on period instruments, such as the Baroque trumpet, to recent literature for solo trumpet. As a soloist Reinhold Friedrich performs with distinguished European chamber and symphonic orchestras, and often also with a friend organist from Frankfurt Martin Lücker.

When all three, i.e. sincere friendship, virtuoso control of musical instruments, and a youthful and passionate musicality combined, Duo Arc et Fleche was born.

When the famous critic J. Steane from Grammophon magazine heard tenor Janez Lotrič in the title role of Verdi’s Il trovatore (The Troubadour) in the Vienna state opera, he wrote: "His arias have such sweetness, body and purity that I actually found myself wondering whether perhaps Caruso, at the time of his "Trovatore" at the Met (Opera), might not have sounded rather similar.

Those who like Baroque music will surely revel in the music composed by Italian Baroque masters of instrumental music which will be performed by the Baroque trio from Italy. There will be special emphasis on the oeuvre of Tartini, the renowned fiddler from Piran.
