Summer musical festival in Bohinj

The italian organ player Mario Verdicchio was born in 1953 in Parma, wher he studied the piano and organ. Later he was improving his knowlage in Paris by famous organ player Marie – Clair Alain. Already in times of studiing he cooperated on important Europian organ festivals. He has broad repertuar from whole antology of organ music by Johann Sebastian Bach to numerous pieces by French and German music maestros, to whole organ heritage of French composer Cesar Franck. Often he plays modern pieces written by contemporary composers. His music is edited on CD (compositions from C. Franck, F. Lizst, M. Dupre); for which he was given splended critics. He teaches music at Conservatorium in Parma.
