Summer musical festival in Bohinj

EVENING SERENADES ON BOHINJ TOURIST BOAT

This year Bohinj summer music festival will offer you also short evening music serenades on tourist boat. They will take place on Tuesday evenings at 8.30 p.m. between 27th of July, 3rd and 10th of August on boat's cruises over the Bohinj lake. Esteemed Slovenian music artists will perform: Duo Fantazija, consisting of the zither players Irena Zdolšek and Franja Kočnik, soprano Valentina Čuden accompanied by guitarist Marko Zaletelj, and internationally recognised accordionist Mitja Jeršič.

You can buy tickets (10 eur) in advance or on a day of the concert on the pier for tourist boat at St. John's and in Ukanc.

While twilight is setting on the Bohinj lake, thousands of sparkling stars are lighting up on the sky. Almost inaudible the boat is sliding on the surface of the lake. Suddenly tender sound of zither string… soprano and guitar are seductively flirting with a kind melody… rich chords of accordion are sinking into the dark depth of the lake… On summer evening under star lights music serenades are born.
